Stickleback Fish Company
World-class wild seafood caught by fishermen from Homer, Alaska.
We are a fisherwoman-owned fish market in Homer, Alaska, offering fresh and artisan seafood products.
We are proud to take care of our fish from the moment we bring them onto our boats, for the highest quality salmon and black cod.
Artisan wild seafood, from sea to table.
Smoked Salmon
Our smoked salmon brings out the quality of our wild Cook Inlet sockeye — with a bit of local honey, black pepper and white wine. Smoked with hand-split birch, this product is a true taste of Homer and the Kenai Peninsula.
Pickled Salmon
Pickled salmon is soul food, with a history in Homer’s homestead tradition. We like it on flatbread with a dollop of sour cream for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our wild salmon is dry-brined and then mixed with vinegar, spices, onions and garlic. It makes a great picnic overlooking Kachemak Bay!
Lox
Lox one of the finest ways you can treat salmon. With top-quality fish, like our sushi-grade Cook Inlet Sockeye, we think that the simplest preparation is the best: salmon, salt, sugar, vodka. We love it for brunch with friends and family.
Smoked Black Cod
Smoked black cod is a wonder of Alaska cuisine. So light yet so rich. We brine ours with local birch syrup, which provides complex sugars and minerals, a little sake, soy, fresh ginger, garlic, chili and smoke it all with delicate Kenai Peninsula birch. It’s really good.
Yum.
